Welcome to the perfume blog of èrlithe

Hi there, I am Kerry Che – natural perfumer and founder of èrlithe natural perfumes, hand made in Tasmania, Australia.

I am looking forward to sharing my passion for all things natural through this blog.

My journey into natural perfumery began a few years ago when I was on a well-deserved extended leave break from my work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Intensive Care. Whilst on leave I learnt to make my own natural mineral make-up, spurred by my passion for always making my own DIY skincare products. During that leave I began making an embrocation balm for my avid cyclist husband and wanted to naturally fragrance it. I began researching how to do this and an entire world of mesmerising botanical fragrance opened up. I became utterly addicted – unable to sleep at night with thoughts of all things olfactory! I amassed a bit of a credit card debt (a warning to all those planning extended leave from work!) purchasing over 100 amazing botanical essences from around the world.

The past few years have been dedicated to researching and working with these amazing essences, and of course purchasing more essences!

Having created 5 unique natural perfumes, I am now on a journey of learning additional skills – a world of packaging, website design, blogging, twitter etc…

I hope you will join me on my journey and the fascinating world of scent.

My website has not launched yet, but to be informed of when it does, you can either sign up to this blog and/or like me on Facebook and Twitter.
